Hello!!

In school, I have been on trip to New Plymouth, a town two hours from Wanganui.

We were on an old British lifeboat. The captain catched many Rock Lobsters, but only two of them were big enough, the rest of them he threw back into the water. We saw many seals, and they were very cute! The water was amazing, and the weather was absolutely perfect. After the boat trip we ate fresh fish and chips on the coast. The seagulls were rude!

Last week-end the whole family visited Wellington, the Capital. Dad was running a runcompetition, while Janne, Mum and I encountered the city.
On Sunday, all of us took a ferry to the Matiu Somes Island, a small island in the harbour of Wellington. There were lots of fascinating birds, among them the Red Crowned Parakeet, which is a beautiful kind of parrot. We also had  the luck to see a Tuatara, a small, very old reptil. We spent the whole day on the island. On the ferry back to the main land, we saw two Little Blue Penguins in the water!

Only one and a half weeks left in school, then we have six weeks of summer holiday!

The cows behind our house are so lovely! Janne and I have come closer and closer to them, and now they even let us touch them.  A few hundred metres away from the house we have discovered a beautiful pond, maybe we will swim  in it sometime in summer.

Today we were at the beach again, and Dad and I ran longside it. It was incredibely windy. After 2,5 km we turned, and then we had the wind in our back. It went really fast!
